Why we exist
Trahan Solutions, Inc. is a small company formed by Andy Trahan in 2007. Andy grew up and currently resides in Monroe, LA. He graduated from St. Frederick High School in 1998 and received his bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2002. Upon graduation from ULM, Andy began his banking career at a local bank.
By 2006, Andy had been promoted to loan officer and was challenged to develop his own loan portfolio. As a young and inexperienced lender, Andy knew it would be difficult to convince people to change bankers and bank with him. So rather than trying to steal business, Andy decided to target newly formed businesses with the hopes of establishing quality relationships with the owners while they were still in the development stages of their business. However, he consistently encountered two obstacles:
- Information was not timely - while attending ribbon cuttings, Andy noticed that not only were these functions saturated with bankers, but also that the financing arrangements were usually already made. So then Andy spent some time in his car looking for new construction, but most projects had already obtained financing.
- Sales leads lacked crucial information - So then Andy turned to Sales Genie and Selectory for sales leads. This was slightly better, but the new businesses were still in operation by the time the sales leads were generated and the leads often did not include names of the owners.
Frustrated by a lack of effective sales leads, Andy used his expertise in data mining to develop his own leads faster and with more relevant information. Problem solved. In fact, these leads were so much more effective that Andy decided to develop them full-time for other business professionals...thus the birth of Trahan Solutions, Inc.
What we do
At Trahan Solutions, we have developed our own unique system of identifying new LLCs, corporations, and partnerships in Louisiana and Mississippi. Oh, and we can tell you who created them too. Unlike typical sales leads, our leads uncover opportunities to not only increase sales, but also to develop and enrich personal relationships in business. They can be delivered to you within days of their existence.
We also compile lists of loan activity covered under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code. These lists are sent via email or fax and generally include the following information on each secured transaction:
- Name and address of the secured party
- Name and address of the debtor
- Type of transaction (initial loan, collateral amendment, termination, etc)
- Collateral description (Kentucky and Louisiana only)
How we can help you
There are two main types of sales leads: business and consumer. Typical "new business" leads will give you the name and address of an existing business, the number of employees, and a business phone number, but very rarely will it give you the names and addresses of the owners/officers/decision makers. Consumer leads will give you the names and addresses of homeowners, boat owners, and those who have recently moved, but it will not tell you what business ventures they are involved in.
Our relationship leads are delivered at the moment a business entity is registered at the state level. They include the business names and addresses as well as the owner/officer names and addresses as provided to the Secretary of State’s Office. Because our leads are for previously non-existent entities, you have the best chance of being the first to approach your prospects.
